Waking up the next morning, Jo couldn't summon up the energy to do anything except lie on her bed reading
When she finally got out of bed, she found herself overcome with tears once again
Everything seemed to be going wrong for her now, even the sink had broken and it felt like too much effort to try and do anything about it so she just grabbed some leftovers from the fridge
Before reading some more, at least in books she could forget her troubles for a little while
Soon enough though she had to head off to work once more
It was another manic shift, it seemed as if the bistro was the place to be most nights
As Jo left the building after her shift, a darkly handsome stranger approached her and introduced himself
"Good evening, my name is Jamieson Moriarty, I take it you work at this fine establishment"
Jo felt flattered that this man seemed so interested in her, although she was a little uncomfortable about the personal questions he asked, why did he want to know her star sign?
But when he began talking about cooking, her passion, she began to relax
From there the conversation moved on to gardening, which he said was one of his hobbies, Jo was interested in his ideas about improving the quality of the ingredients she used in her cooking
And the two of them discussed recipes and ingredients for a long time
Jo even relaxed enough that when Jamieson told her a secret
She found herself laughing for the first time in a long while
However all things must come to an end, and by the time Jamieson had finished telling her a very odd story about yetis, she realised just how late it was
Making her excuses she headed off home
As she staggered in the door she realised she was completely exhausted
She grabbed herself a quick bite to eat out of the fridge
And collapsed into bed
Where she dreamed of the recipes she'd one day make
Oooh, Jamieson Moriarty! He's Eeevil!
ReplyDeleteOoh... potential, as yang stated "Eeevil," mate mayhaps?
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you had that many sims actually visit the Bistro! I'm jealous. Was it because of the speakers? My Bistro is always a ghost town (restaurant?). :(
Great update! Can't wait to see what happens to poor Jo.
That Moriarty fellow glows red! That's never a good sign, Jo.
ReplyDeleteNice update, Ali. I still hope Jo gets out of her funk.
I can't believe how many people keep visiting the bistro either! I wonder whether it's because I'm focussing on it while Jo's working?
ReplyDeleteBuckley, I'm afraid Jo's unlikely to get out of her funk any time soon as she's suffering from depression
ReplyDeleteAt least Jo finally got to talk to someone who didn't die soon after. I hope she realizes her luck in this!
ReplyDeleteAt least she smiled a little. :)
ReplyDeleteMortiary seems a little shady, but maybe he's just a friendly guy. ;)
