Chapter Thirty Two

Tamara woke up that night feeling sick again
And soon after received confirmation that she was pregnant with their first child
In the morning Jo helped Joshua in the garden
Tamara slept late and when Joshua came in from the garden she surprised him with the news
He was absolutely delighted and insisted on listening to her tummy immediately
Jo was also thrilled to learn she was going to be a grandmother
Tamara decided to spend the day quietly, watching TV and listening to music, she didn't want to stress the baby out by doing anything too energetic
Left to their own devices as a result, Midnight and Arashi galloped around the hills nearby, getting to know each other in their own horsey way
Joshua went down into town to sell some of his produce
On his way back, he stopped by the bookshop to pick up some pregnancy books
When he got home he presented the pregnancy books to Tamara
He'd also picked up some new recipe books for his mother
The family then had a quiet afternoon together, Joshua and Tamara read up on pregnancies and new babies while Jo learned the new recipes
Later that evening, while fishing, Joshua was amazed to see a unicorn seemingly emerge from the rocks near the waterfall, he'd never seen such a beautiful, magical sight
He told Tamara all about it in bed that night and she grilled him on whether the unicorn looked the same as the descriptions in books
The next day passed similarly, with Tamara reading quietly in the living room
While Joshua looked after the garden
 And Jo cleaned the house
And upgraded some more of the plumbing
Outside, Midnight and Arashi were getting very close
Tamara went outside to Joshua's garden to phone her parents and let them know her news
And the two had some quiet time together as the evening wore on
That night, Tamara woke up with contractions, causing Joshua to panic
She didn't want to go to hospital, so she breathed through the pain
And eventually she gave birth to a beautiful little girl whom they named Miralys

  3. I love the name Miralys. I named one of my elves in Dragon Age Miralys.
I can't wait to see her grow up.

  4. I love the name! At first, I was worried you had her sitting to listen to kids music and watch the kids channel. So a singleton was a surprise for me.
